The WS product family was developed according to Neste Corporation’s specific needs to improve both energy efficiency and safety under special conditions.
Neste, one of the largest products of renewable diesel made from waste and residues, wanted to replace its old fluorescent Ex-lighting with new equipment. Their goal was to improve safety as well as reduce maintenance costs and environmental impacts of their fixed Ex-lighting.
Neste chose Atexor Oy for several reasons, including an established reputation for high quality and reliable Ex luminaires. From the beginning, it was clear what Neste needed was not standard lighting, but rather a joint development project that would culminate in a custom lighting solution.
The result was the SLAM FIXED® Nordic 1LED WS & SLAM FIXED® Nordic 2LED WS luminaires.
